Transferring to new hard drive

Hi,

Right now I've got Ubuntu Hoary running SWEET on current my hard
drive. I am thinking of getting a new hard drive and MOVING the OS to
that new drive. How difficult would that be? In particular, what about
the MBR/GRUB booting, and file/directory permissions?

Thanks for any help! I don't expect it to be too difficult, but want
to make sure I don't miss something.
