Hoary->Breezy locale and keyboard problems

I had the "Locale" problem as well... I'd chosen British when offered the 
choice early on in the upgrade process...

It moaned and whined for a long time about the locale not being present, then 
about halfway during the install (when it was busy installing streamripper or 
somesuch) it actually created the locale items and then no complaints after 
than.

To get OpenOffice 2 to install, I had to un-install it first and then install 
the breezy version. It kept whining about some file in the ooo2 help package 
already existing in another ooo2 package.

My only problem so far is a distinct lack of nvidia 3D goodness... I haven't 
searched for any fixes for this yet.
