Breezy repository trouble

[AA]

Does this explain the problem I am having:
My current installation had broken dependencies
because during the install it couldnt connect to d/l a
file, I fixed this in the package manager, but the
update process is now taking alot longer than it used
to, like I went from 160k/sec to 20.  Is this why?
