HP Scanjet 4370

Hi all,

Has anyone used a scanjet 4370 on Ubuntu? My pcdoes not seem to detect the
scanner. I tried downloading hplip from Universe but it seems to be down.
Any ideas on how I can install the scanner? The HP website does not seem to
have a driver for it but i was able to use hplip on my other machine.
However, i used apt-get on that particular install. I have the hplip file
but I dont know how to install it. Any ideas or instructions would be
greatly appreciated.
