no sound in breezy

Hi everyone,

I've had great success running Breezy and am much impressed with it. 
Save for the area of sound. I've tried every diagnostic trick I could 
find reference to and as far as I can tell my sound card and ALSA system 
are configured correctly. Still, I get no sound from either my computer 
or any CD I put into my CD-ROM drive. Any hints are much appreciated.
