BB release candidate problems with raid and LVM on install

just want to doublecheck to make sure I didn't do anything wrong before
filing a bug report.

installing 5.10rc on Intel motherboard with 4 serial ATA drives. I
dedicated the first drive files from the installation. Drives 2-4 are
going to be configured as a raid one set with a single spare with LVM on
top for managing partitions.

I was unfamiliar with how the partitioning tool would handle all of the
partitions but eventually I got the raid set up correctly with drives
2-4. When I went to install LVM however, it tried to refer to
partitions that didn't exist (i.e. /dev/md/0p1).

The question is, did I do something wrong or is this a real bug?

To reiterate, the sequence was:

Partition all disks
hda: two partitions root and swap
	hdb: one partition raid
	hdc: one partition raid
	hdd: one partition raid spare

hdb-d assigned to raid set md0.
creating partition on raid set seems to fail with message about
/dev/md/0p1 not existing.

pity, it was going so well...

by the way, installation on dell inspiron 5000 laptop was perfect (the
second time). I learned something about doing an online upgrade. Only
do it from a console, not from a remote ssh session. whoops.
