Ultra spped cd-rw writing problem

Dear Ubuntu Users,
I am using Ubuntu 5.04. I bought Ultra speed Memorex
CD-RW's (24X) but  can't burn them. I always get an
eror.   
I couldn't burn them on windows either. Are they bad
or my box is missing some program? Here is the  eror I
got:
