I've installed it in both Hoary and Breeze by following the Installation HowTo
on MediaWiki's website:

http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Running_MediaWiki_on_Debian_GNU/Linux

Although, I'm guessing Corey's method is simpler.
