OpenOffice.org in KDE and GNOME

Nope.  I'm in KDE right now.  Konqueror looks right.  Kontact, etc.
all look as they should.  Further, when I start them from konsole, I
do NOT get the locale errors.

I thought it might be a problem with my .openoffice.org directory, so
I deleted it.  No change in behavior.  For kicks and giggles, I think
I am going to create a new user and try it over there to see if it's
some random error in a config file somewhere in my home directory that
I'm not thinking of.
