afair (from my experiences years ago with debian on
ppc) : edit /etc/yaboot.conf, and run ybin -v and then reboot

here's a /etc/yaboot.conf example
http://www.desertsol.com/~kevin/ppc/yaboot.conf-1.3.7

you need to find out what the name of your kernel is
(e.g. /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.10-5), your ubuntu-partition is on /dev/hda8
