Verbatim Ultra Speed+ CDRW Media with cdrecord

Hello,

Is anyone able to burn to Ultra Speed+ CDRW Media using Ubuntu Breezy?  

Apparently cdrecord has support for this type of media as of 2.01.01a03.
Ubuntu uses a patched version of 2.01.01a01 I believe. 

I'm not concerned about being able to actually write at the rated 32x
that the media advertises, since my drive could not reach those speeds.
It would however be nice to be able to use this media at any reasonable
speed.
