This is not the /home directory, this is your USER directory
(/home/YOU) !
You must move the content of the /home directory, which contains the
data of ALL users, not just your personal folder.
/home contains the data of all users, this is what the system mounts.
In a terminal, type "ls -l /home ", and post it here, I doubt you will
have many files in there. On my machine all I have is:
/home/vincent
/home/lost+found
/home/.Trash-root
This is what you must copy to your new partition.
