How to Install Konquest Game while running a live CD

How do i install Konquest game(GNU LACTIC) while running a live CD of
UBUNTU.

How do i do this if i install Ubuntu. Fedora has something CALLED YUM to
install either from the CD or WEB to do this.
Does Ubuntu has something similar?
 Any assistance on this issue would be greatly appriciated
