Installing SVN ??

Hi,

So I decided to go the SVN route, and I am now slowly and carefully
reading this nice book: http://svnbook.red-bean.com/
that some of you pointed me to.

Problem: the book gives practical examples to give you hands on
experience of how to use it, great :-)
So, on page 32, they invite you to type the following at the command
line:

$ svn checkout http://svn.example.com/repos/calc

but, it doesn't work :o(
I searched in synaptic (with universe and multiverse enabled) for "svn",
and it found 23 packages. The only one that seemed relevant, was in
main, and called "libsvn0", so I installed that, hoping for the best.
But of course it installed only libraries, not any command line tool :o(
I looked at the other 22 packages but none of them clearly describe
themselves as "I AM SVN, YOU NEED ME IF YOU WANT TO TYPE SVN COMMANDS IN
THE TERMINAL".
Sorry for shouting ;-)

I can't believe that Ubuntu doesn't come with all that's necessary, so
please someone, tell me what package I need to install in order to be
able to use the svn commands, and start my training using the book :-/

Thanks much in advance :o)
