Hi all,
Thanks for your replies.
I started a thread about version control systems on the Atmel AVR
mailing list, and boy, does it seem a hot topic !
Looks like in the embedded electronics field, engineers end up using
many different systems, not just one, and that CVS, although it is
popular, is only one of them, unlike in the Linux community where I got
the impression that CVS was the only system in existence, hence I
originally though that it was the one to use.
So in the end, it means that there is a wide choice of version control
systems, and that it's not really important which one I learn on. As
long as I use one, it's all that really matters.
So after much debate, and all things considered, SVN is the best choice
I can make.
So I will go read about it thanks to the links you gave me on the
subject...
Regards,
