hi,
glad it works :)
ubuntu-desktop is a metapapckage thats there to install all applications
to have an ubuntu experience. you can live without it, but its
_extremely_ useful to have it installed if you upgrade from one version
to another. so if you happen to remove something that removes
ubuntu-desktop thats ok, but if you happen to upgrade to dapper once its
released, you should have it installed, cause some strange things can
happen without it.
