I got through the survey (beginner's luck, maybe?). How far did you get?
Much of what they were asking seemed to be along the lines of how much I 
would be willing to spend on Linux versions of their software ($899.00 was 
their staring bid for one of their packages...cripes, I don't spend that 
much on hardware much less software)

I doubt you missed much.
