For what you're describing, I don't think you'll notice much of a
difference between Hoary and Breezy.  I just upgraded my laptop to
Breezy, and the swsusp (sleep/hibernate) seems very broken in Breezy,
probably due to changes in kernel from 2.6.10 and 2.6.12.  Everything
else seems mostly the same.
