nVidia with stock kernel crashes when leaving X

I am working on understanding what the problem is. Unfortunately, it
is a time-consuming task when there lockups are solid and produce no
oops. I am now at a point where the only graphics modules loaded is
agpgart and nvidia. If I still get lockups now, I will compile in the
Kernel Debugger and sit down with that until I have enough details to
take to either nVidia or LKML.

Compiling a new kernel is less horrible than you may think. :) Mail me
off list if you want me to talk you through it.
