Hmmm, I had that problem with Warty and Hoary. I narrowed it down to the
3D Nvidia drivers. I gave up 3D acceleration, put an old 2D PCI card,
and that made Hoary, and now Breezy, solid as a rock.
I expect I will be needing 3D in 2 or 3 years so, so I hope that by this
time, the Open Graphics project will have come true, as hopefully this
will lead to mature, top quality/reliable drivers. Here is hoping
anyway...
