Mysql Server Question

I finally got the server to install, but have a question.

Looking at teh Changes applied screen from Synaptic, Im not sure if this 
is finished or hung:

  "Setting up mysql-server

    Stopping MySQL database server: mysqld.

    Starting MySQL database server: mysqld.

    Checking for crashed MySQL tables in background....."


Ok. This always makes me wonder when its actually finshed, but, doesnt 
the ... mean waiting or working?
