I may be mistaken on this, but I think that you don't need to use mac
addresses if you already have them defined in DHCP. Regardless, I
think that the file you're referring to is
/opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf. I was editing the [default] stanza in
that file rather than doing per-machine settings for the time being.
But, it looks from what was said in another post that the settings
that I was using aren't implemented in Ubuntu ltsp yet. :P
