A 2 Gig drive is pretty small. My / and /usr have about 4.5 Gigs in them.
This sounds like the Live CD would be perfect for you. You will boot
from the CD so it won't take any space on your hard drive. Lets you try
Ubuntu Linux without committing to installing anything.
Download the Ubuntu Live CD (for Gnome) or the Kubuntu Live CD (for KDE):
