Most likely, you can't. Since the external VGA connector probably simply
mirrors the video output to the built in screen. Most laptops don't do
dual head. Some will. If the hardware supports it, then you can probably
do it with Xinerama, but I can't help with details, as my laptop doesn't
do that :)
