nat---ipmasq

Hi


I am on a dial-up.


Every four hours my ISP disconnects me..

I have persist so my modem just redials.

But, for some reason nat or ipmasq goes down and I have to manually
restart that...

That is the problem.....

I would write a script to fix it...

But, what would I check to see if nat/ipmasq is running?

The /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward bit stays set?

I don't know what else to check...

Any ideas????
