initrd-tools failure on install

Hey guys,

I'm trying to install 5.10 on a generic Athlon 1600
machine.

The installation process fails while trying
to install the initrd-tools package, it says to
check /target/var/log/bootstrap.log, a file which doesn't
seem to exist.

The installation is to a clean disk of 60GB and there's
no obvious errors in the installation terminals.
