Actually, it's a laptop with 1024x768 only.  I also have a desktop
with a CRT at 1024x768.  The desktop has no problem with missing
lines, but the laptop screen has the bottom 3-4 lines blacked over. 
They're not scrolled off the bottom, but it's actually blacked out.
