Three small issues in Ubuntu (back button, greyed out copy, weak spam filter)

Ubuntu Users,

I'm reasonably sure these issues have something to do with their
implementation in Ubuntu, even though they are application specific. I
was not experiencing anything like this with these applications
installed in other distributions.

	1. My back button in Firefox suddenly stopped working. It starts out
"greyed out" when I open it, and no matter what web sites I go to, it
remains greyed out, hindering me from it's intended purpose.

	2. The "Copy" command in the Evolution main window is always greyed
out. I can use Ctrl+C to copy, so copy functions are available. But I'm
a mouse using person, and I'd like to know why the menu option is
unavailable.

	3. The spam filtering in Evolution seems very weak. After I learnt in
another person's thread on this list that I needed to set "Enabled" to
"1" in some configuration file, the spam filtering is helping. But I
notice it's much weaker than Thunderbird. Is there something I should be
doing to improve its effectiveness?
