regular disconnects

Hi,

I connect to the Internet via pptp-linux and I get disconnected 
regularly. The corresponding message in /var/log/messages is:

Nov  6 02:08:47 ubuntu pppd[26100]: Exit.

The connection time is always around 600minutes. It's definitely not a 
provider issue - my Fedora installation doesn't get disconnected. Any 
ideas how I can narrow the problem down?
