I would rather keep using gnome if possible. Plus, with my hardware,
there really shouldnt be any reason for me to have to switch to a
lighter window manager right? I mean I should be able to run what I
like(am I being too cocky about my hardware here?). Is there something
that I can test to see if there is a major slowdown? I forgot to
mention that I am using azureus, and yes I know that java eats alot of
memory too. so that would put me at ~40% xorg, then ~13-15% java mem
usage. But that shouldnt slow me down this much. Plus once I close all
those things its still sluggish. Any ideas?....
Thanks,
Charles
