mplayer window re size?

I'm trying to have some faster video output, but all I can get to work
is the X11 video driver (using gmplayer -vo x11). The xv video driver
doesn't work (allthough I can see it when I use gmplayer -vo help or in
the preferences of the GUI).

I have the package libxv1 installed.

I have a Geforce4 card with the binary nvidia drivers (I also tried the
default open source driver first)...



Anyone who can help me making xv work? According to the html doc's of
mplayer, it's what I need...
