Universe security questions

Universe is maintained by MOTU (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MOTU), and as
such will receive some security updates.  but Ubuntu doesn't make the
promise (as with the Main repository) that they will occur since it is
a community-based effort to maintain these universe packages, before
and after each releases.
