No Sound

I just downloaded and installed Ubuntu and am very pleased with it
except I have no sound.  I have it running on a Dell Dimension 8300 with
a Sound Blaster Audigy card.  The sound is perfect with Windows XP on
the other hard drive.  At this point I know almost nothing about Linux -
I'm a newby checking it out compared to Windows.
