ok... found the correct fstab, corrected the typo but on booting the hd
I now get:
cannot execute "/sbin/getty"
ID x respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes.
...for IDs 1 through 6 ... and
No more processes in this runlevel.
I'm googling for an answer and finding plenty to read up on... too tired
to deal with it for now. Tomorrow's another day for learning.
