In Hoary Universe.
As someone else mentioned, you can set it with a cronjob. Works well
for me and has many options.
However, I would agree with other comments that we need a GUI
interface for a backup program like DAR. There is KDAR, which I
haven't tried since it requires a lot of KDE libs to compile from
source.
DAR is great for the power user, but for a non-tech person who is
starting off on Linux (and Hoary is a great distro for that), they
need something simple with a GUI that they can use. A Gnome front-end
GUI for DAR would be excellent, IMO. Or maybe there's another solution
out there which I haven't found yet.
I think Mondo is a bit too complex for your average non-techie user.
