The DVD image contains main + restricted.  This should be ''pretty much
everything you need'' depending on whether you count MP3, DeCSS, Java, Skype
or Quake as ''essential packages''...  :-)

Eg.  It contains everything currently considered 'supportable', although if
you are working on specific projects (image manipulation, fft) then you may
find it useful to pull in development libraries from 'universe' to speed
your development up.
