I'm dealing with the broken package issue in synaptic right now with
gimpshop. Everytime I go to install anything via synaptic, synaptic
goes and removes gimpshop (which at this time isn't part of the
repository) and I have to re-install it.
If you could spell it out for a wet behind the ears newbie such as
myself as to how to go about tricking dpkg I would greatly appreciate
it.
