enabling universe by default

And is there any problem with universe?
I just ran a dist-upgrade with Universe enabled. Is this likely to
cause problems?
(I am not too worried about security, as I am not running a server, but
I don't want decreased stability, decreased speed, or for any features
to stop working.)
