I do not believe that is what is being suggested.  I thought the issue
being discussed was whether or not php4-mysql would receive any security
updates between releases since it was a universe package and universe
carries a large disclaimer from the Ubuntu developers.  FWIW, I don't
think php5 has hit debian sid yet.
