XFCE, KDE or Gnome ?

No, but you can install all three in Ubuntu. It comes installed with Gnome.

For XFCE, you can do:

sudo apt-get install xfce4

For KDE:

sudo apt-get install kdesktop


Then when you login, you can choose which you want to try that session, and 
get a feel for the three.
