Intel High Definition Sound supported by Hoary?

Is Intels High Definition Sound supported by Hoary? I tried it in Warty, 
it was not possible - someone mentioned it will be supported in Hoary.

I tried it no with Hoary, but it seems not to work - I see f.e. no 
sound-icons on the GUI.
