Hi,
'sudo hdparm -d1 /dev/hda' returns "HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Operation not
permitted." A similiar problems was described in
http://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-users/2005-May/034185.html and a
given solution was to replace the generic modules used for the mainboard
chipset.
I do not know what to replace in /etc/modules and what module is
appropriate. If there is any other solution, please let me know.
In forward thank You for any help and sorry for my poor english
