About the sudden logout(s):
Is your hardware okay? I had the same problem in the past.
Turns out that my RAM and the mainboard were not compatible.
After solving that, I can't remember I had any sudden logout
Test your system integrity with "Ubuntu, kernel memtest86+" menu
option from Grub when booting. Be patient as it takes a while
to test all the memory.
Ben Novack and Pat Taylor:
don't use the Sidebar (and there is another nasty bug that I
don't know how to avoid in 1.0.2). Check this link. THIS IS
A VERY SERIOUS SECURITY PROBLEM!
Best thing to do is to install Firefox 1.0.3 from Mozilla
site, by adding the Backports repository to APT, or even
downloading the packages and installing them manually.
