install trouble

i'm having trouble installing ubuntu, i'm re-downloading the ISO right now 
just in case the old one i had was corrupt, but either way, once my install 
got to about 6%, the point where it was searching for "bsdutils" it threw an 
error and the installer quit, does anyone know what i should do about this?
