[Hoary] using the Warty kernel ?

Doesn't look like it's the same problem. Hoary works fine with and
without the card, and I do'nt have any ISA card. It's just that there is
a problem with the SECAM norm, each and everytime I want to
switch/change channel/station, I have to select PAL then SECAM again. If
I just leave it on SECAM (as it should be, and as is specified in
the .xawtv conf file), the tuner is unable to switch channel, it keeps
displaying the current/same channel over and over. A bit weird...
Still, it may well be a kernel bug too, albeit another one. Hence why I
am trying to retro-fit the Warty Kernel, to try to narrow it down...

Ah, looks like I did it wrong then. Can I really install the Warty
kernel in HoOary with Synaptic ? Will it not screw up the whole system ?
Well I have nothing to lose, I will try...
I will also get rid of the RAID0 device, to try to make things as simple
as possible.
