Hi all,
according to this article about pinning
http://jaqque.sbih.org/kplug/apt-pinning.html
it seems to be ok to upgrade the libc6 from hoary to breezy.
I will try that, and will report the flaws and issues or success when
I'm finished with the upgrade.
I think the big thing with the libc6 compiled with gcc-2.95 to libc6
compiled with gcc-3.x was a different one, because the libs are not
binary compatible, so that every program which depends on libc6 ( :-O )
had to be upgraded to the version compiled with gcc-3.x .
But this is (only) a bugfix upgrade or somewhat similar, at least I hope
so...
regards
Gerhard
