Bottom vs. Top Posting (WAS: A Plea for sanity when posting to this list.)

An attempt at summarizing the thread:

1. Think about how your reply to an email. Make sure your target
audience agrees with your email style and format, chances are they'll
   simply skip reading it otherwise.
2. Use interleaving to address the separate issues raised in the email
you reply to. If in doubt, interleave!
3. Top-posting has it's uses, so does bottom-posting. Use both
responsibly. Top-posting can be used to set the tone of a reply, or
convey general points relating to the entire reply. Bottom-posting is
good for raising new issues or summarize.

Software is not manufactured, it is something you write and publish.
Keep Europe free from software patents, we do not want censorship
by patent law on written works.

Life ain't a rehearsal; stop acting and live.
