If you *really* want to disable IPv6 (by preventing the Kernel module
"ipv6" from loading) create a file "/etc/modprobe.d/bad_list" (you can
name anything you want) and put the following in it:
alias ipv6 off
But, seriously, as "Matthias Fechner" asked, why disable IPv6? (Just
curious, nothing else!)
