Installation report for Acer TravelMate 8100

Hi!

I'm gentoo user,but situation with this ACER and his screen-radeon is
looking similar.

Btw i found solution for fliker screen and black screen with 8.12.10
:)

1.Fliker screen - look what bios you have on your notebook.Working is
3c17 ONLY!!!

2.Loose backlight on screen with 8.12.10 - just replase in xorg.conf

this line "Option "MonitorLayout"  "SOMETHING, SOMETHING"

with "Option "MonitorLayout"    "LVDS, TMDS"
