apt-search and apt-install giving problems on Ubuntu 5.04

Hi,

Tried to search and install mod_perl package on newly
released ubuntu 5.04. I had no problems for last one
week but since yesterday, getting lots of errors as
shown below. What could be wrong ? 

# apt-cache search mod_perl|more
